Liveaboard cruises offering dives at the Cooper Island

All about Cooper Island dive site

Cooper Island offers sheltered BVI diving with a relaxed Caribbean pace, often used for reef dives around nearby bays and slopes. The island’s position in the Sir Francis Drake Channel makes it convenient for mixed reef and wreck itineraries.

What to see

Expect reef fish, sea fans, sponges, hard corals, grunts, snappers, parrotfish, angelfish, lobsters, and small crustaceans. Nearby reef slopes may also bring turtles, rays, and passing barracuda.

When To Go Diving

December to May usually brings the best mix of visibility and surface conditions. Water remains warm year-round, generally around 26–29°C, with summer often calmer but more affected by tropical weather risk.
