Liveaboard cruises offering dives at the Virgin Gorda Island

All about Virgin Gorda Island dive site

Virgin Gorda brings together some of the BVI’s most recognisable underwater scenery, from boulder formations to modern artificial reef installations. The island’s dive sites often feel spacious and photogenic, with a mix of reef life, wreck features, and sculpted rock.

What to see

Reef fish, sea fans, sponges, hard corals, rays, turtles, barracuda, lobsters, and artificial reef structures may be seen. The island is also linked with the Kodiak Queen wreck site.

When To Go Diving

December to May is usually the best period for stable weather and visibility. Water is generally around 26–29°C, with summer offering warmer water but a higher tropical-weather risk.
