All about Guana Island dive site

Guana Island sits on the northern side of the BVI, giving its dive sites a slightly more exposed, ocean-facing feel. Reefs here may be more weather-dependent, but calm days can bring clear water, healthy coral structure, and quieter dive settings.

What to see

Expect reef fish, sea fans, sponges, hard corals, parrotfish, angelfish, wrasse, lobsters, and occasional turtles or rays. Exposed edges may bring jacks, barracuda, and schooling fish.

When To Go Diving

December to May is usually the strongest period, though northerly swell can affect exposed sites. Water remains warm, generally around 26–29°C, with visibility often 18–30 metres in good conditions.
