Baa Atoll
Millaidhoo Caves suggests a Baa Atoll site with overhangs, swim-throughs or reef cuts. It has a more atmospheric profile than a simple reef slope, with shadowed sections adding texture to the dive.
What to see
Overhangs, cave-like reef cuts, soft corals, soldierfish, squirrelfish, moray eels, turtles, reef fish, nudibranchs and occasional rays may be seen.
When To Go Diving
December to May usually gives the clearest water, while Baa Atoll’s manta season is often stronger from May to November in plankton-rich conditions. Water is usually 27–30°C.
