Liberation Liveaboard, Philippines
A very budget-friendly liveaboard with knowledgeable, friendly staff. Divers can choose a short 3 nights trip to Apo Reef or stay for the longer 5 nights vacation on board. Experience it all from the reef to wreck diving. An abundance of tropical fish and an opportunity to dive with a grey reef, blacktip, whitetip sharks and hammerheads.
Boat interior
Liberation can accommodate up to 14 passengers. There are 2 cabins, one has 6 twin bunk beds and the second is with 2 double beds, bunk style. All are sharable. The boat doesn't have running water, there is fresh water available for bucket showers and two full-size toilet cubicles which are bucket flush. Towels, toilet paper, soap, and shampoo are provided.
Boat chef prepares delicious food and snacks, so you will never be hungry.
Diving
The diving platform is big enough for 12-14 divers. The boat compressor provides quick air refills.
Safety and navigation
The yacht supplied with all necessary safety equipment including life rafts, emergency jackets, first aid kit, fire fighting equipment.
Diving features
The liveaboard offers 3, 4 or 5 nights trips. Trips begin on the same day, but you stay for a longer trip or go ashore in the middle of the trip if you choose a shorter 3 nights traveling.
All itineraries include diving at Apo Reef. This is the longest coral reef in Asia - a true paradise for divers. There are not many places where you will find such a variety of tropical fish. Hammerheads, whitetip, blacktip shark, grey reef sharks are to be found here. You will find also manta rays, barracudas, hawksbill and green sea turtles, huge humphead parrotfish, coral reef terraces and incredible wall dives with up to 40m visibility.
Another big attraction that the boat is offer is wreck diving. World renowned WWII Japanese wrecks are included in longer trips.
One of the rarest and most special experiences the yachts have to offer is diving with dugongs.
