Veli Prznjak is a small island, situated off the south coast of Korcula Island. With many dive locations still waiting to be discovered along the uneven coastline of Veli Prznjak, there is one dive site that can be of a particular interest to divers. This dive site features a large underwater cave with a vertical tunnel. The dive starts by descending along the reef wall to a small platform at the depth of around 20m/66ft. Beneath the platform the wall drops sharply to 45m/148ft down. By descending along the wall divers will find an entrance to a cave at around 35m/115ft deep. The passage inside the cave bends into a tunnel, which will lead divers in vertical direction up to 20m/66ft, where divers can take some amazing photographs of each other's dark shadows against the highlighted opening. Due to the depth, divers are required to have some experience if they want to dive the cave, however, novice diver will also find this dive site interesting because even at shallower depths the wall promises a lot of amazing discoveries.
