Tmara
Tmara is a small islet that is only 33m/102ft above sea level, and is located near Krbelica, another small island in the Šibenik Archipelago, which is only 100m/330ft from the coast. It is a deep dive (35m/115ft), with picturesque views of corals in various shapes and colors, gorgonians, and diverse fish hiding in the gorgonian bushes. There is an interesting cave divers can penetrate at a depth of 35m/115ft.
When To Go Diving
In the subtropical humid Croatian climate, the best time to dive at this spot is June through August, with water temperatures averaging 22C/72F, the least amount of rain, and the best visibility.
What to see
Divers can see various species of reef fish, as well as parrotfish, starfish, moray eels, and crayfish. The local fauna live in the gorgonian forests and coral gardens in mostly yellow and orange colors.
