Giuseppe Dezza is one of Croatia’s important wreck dives, a former Italian warship later used by the German Navy and sunk near the Brijuni area during WWII. The wreck lies in deeper water and is known for its broken sections and military features, making it a serious but memorable Adriatic wreck dive.
What to see
Divers may see the bow and stern sections, cannon features, military wreck structure, sponges, encrusting marine life, conger eels, scorpionfish, octopus, and schooling fish.
When To Go Diving
Best from June to October, with advanced training needed because the wreck sits around the low-to-mid 30-metre range and deeper. Water can be cool at depth even in summer.
