All about Koloa Landing dive site

Koloa Landing, on Kauai’s south shore, is a popular shore dive with lava formations, coral patches, and excellent macro potential. It has a practical but rewarding profile, especially for slow photographers.

What to see

Frogfish where present, nudibranchs, turtles, moray eels, octopus, reef fish, butterflyfish, tangs, shrimps, and lava reef life may be seen.

When To Go Diving

Best from May to October, though south-shore conditions can be possible year-round. Water is generally around 24–27°C, with visibility often 15–30 metres.
