All about French Reef dive site
French Reef is a Key Largo reef known for swim-throughs, coral formations, and classic Florida Keys fish life. It has more topographic variety than a simple patch reef, especially around its ledges and reef cuts.
What to see
Coral swim-throughs, sea fans, sponges, grunts, snappers, angelfish, parrotfish, moray eels, lobsters, turtles, and nurse sharks may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from May to October, with year-round diving possible. Water is generally 20–30°C, and visibility often ranges from 10–30 metres.
