Cannonball Cut is likely a Florida Keys reef channel or cut, with coral heads, sand lanes, and fish moving through the gap. It has a lighter reef profile than the deeper wrecks, with good potential for relaxed exploration.
What to see
Coral heads, sea fans, grunts, snappers, parrotfish, angelfish, southern stingrays, nurse sharks, lobsters, and small reef creatures may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from May to October for warm water and calmer conditions, while winter can still be good on settled days. Water is usually around 20–30°C.
