Kikki Reef is an interesting dive site located in Malé Harbour. Divers start at 9m/29ft of depth, and explore a big bulge with dense layers of corals on it. Experienced divers can go deeper and dive in the adventurous cave, located on the eastern side of the overhang. There is an abundance of underwater creatures in numerous crevices and fissures.

When To Go Diving

Malé Harbour has a tropical monsoon climate. There are two distinct seasons: dry and wet. The dry season is from October to April, with an average air temperature of 30-33C/86-92F, which is the best time to visit. The wet season is characterized by heavy rainfall and cooler air temperatures, and lasts from May to September, with an average temperature of 25-28C/77-83F. The water temperature varies from 25-33C/77-92F.

What to see

At Kikki Reef, Maldives, divers can see turtles, eagle rays, and Creole wrasses. There are different types of corals, sea fans, and sponges on the surfaces of swim-throughs and ledges.
