Île aux Benitier

The crescent-shaped island lies off the coast of Le Morne in the Southwest of Mauritius. Ile aux Bénitiers is a large coral sand island approximately 2km/1.24mi long and 500m/1600ft at its widest point.

When To Go Diving

Diving is possible year-round, but the best season runs from November through April. During these months water temperatures are most inviting, staying around 29C/84F.

What to see

The lagoon features crystal clear waters, vast and shallow with large coral fields. This site is also an ideal place to watch dolphins.
