All about Corsair Reef dive site
Corsair Reef has a historical, almost pirate-like name that fits Mauritius’ Indian Ocean setting. Underwater, it is best treated as a reef site with coral growth, fish life, and possible ledges or rocky structure.
What to see
Reef fish, hard corals, sponges, moray eels, lionfish, blue-spotted rays, butterflyfish, wrasse, and small crustaceans may be seen.
When To Go Diving
November to April usually brings warmer water and often strong visibility. May to October is cooler but still diveable in suitable sea conditions.
