Similan Islands
Honeymoon Bay is located on the east side of Island 4, which is part of the Similan Islands. This natural bay is spectacular and looks as if it was taken directly from a beautiful postcard. The bay is no less beautiful underwater. There is a gentle slope starting from 5m/16ft that goes down to 25m/82ft to a soft, sandy bottom. Divers will see an abundance of colorful soft and hard corals, and a multitude of other marine life. This dive site is also perfect for night diving. Lobsters and octopi tend to be nighttime visitors along with the occasional Spanish dancers and huge sea stars that fully expand in the darkened waters.
When To Go Diving
It is possible to dive in Honeymoon Bay all year round, because the annual water temperature is 27-30C/81-85F. However the high season lasts from October to May.
