All about Ao Sane dive site
Ao Sane, near Phuket, is a sheltered rocky and coral site with easy shore access in good conditions. It has a gentle Andaman profile, with boulders, coral heads, and small reef life close to the coast.
What to see
Reef fish, parrotfish, wrasse, butterflyfish, moray eels, blue-spotted rays, nudibranchs, hard corals, and small crustaceans may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from November to April, when Phuket’s west coast is calmer. Water is generally 27–30°C, with visibility often 8–25 metres.
