All about Fiura dive site
Fiura is best treated as a local Cape Verde reef site with volcanic relief, sand patches, and Atlantic fish life. Its appeal comes from natural rock structure rather than heavy coral cover, giving the dive a rugged island character.
What to see
Expect moray eels, scorpionfish, wrasse, parrotfish, trumpetfish, pufferfish, nudibranchs, shrimps, and crabs. Rays, turtles, or barracuda may be seen occasionally.
When To Go Diving
April to November usually gives the best mix of visibility and water temperature. Water is commonly 22–27°C during this period, while visibility often reaches 15–30 metres.
