When To Go Diving

Diving in Baa Atoll is all year round but the recommended are the period December to May, when the seas are at their calmest. The average air temperature is around 30°C (86°F). Water temperatures average around 26 to 29°C (78 to 84°F).

What to see

The marine life around Baa Atoll includes an unbelievable number of fish: red-toothed triggers, black pyramid butterflyfish, parrotfish, angelfish, very longnose butterflyfish, unicornfish, and starry rabbitfish among hundreds of species, and also sharks, mantas and turtles
