Liveaboard diving in
Blue Hole
Zaklopatica is presented with wall that leads to a spacious cave at about 30m/98ft depth, and rocks in the seabed. The cave has a ledge and an air pocket surrounded by pink walls, but divers will need an artificial lighting to explore them. The safe exit orientation spot is the light penetrating into cave's interior.
When To Go Diving
Diving is available throughout the year, however, the best time to dive here is from May to September when the average water temperature is about 24C/75F. In
winter the water temperature can drop to 12C/53F.
What to see
Due to the darkness and lack of currents, very little marine life is found in the cave’s interior, but sometimes anemones and, leopard-spotted gobies can be seen. In the area from the cave to the wall red corals can be found.
