Island Zecevo
Island Zečevo is one of Croatia’s many islands that offers both excellent snorkeling and diving. The island is surrounded by a shallow reef full of gorgonian corals that is teeming with marine life. This dive site ends with a steep 30m/98ft drop-off. The clear Adriatic Sea water has fantastic visibility.
When To Go Diving
The best diving conditions at Island Zečevo are from May to October, when the average water temperature reaches 25C/77F. The air temperature range is 25-30C/77-86F.
What to see
Island Zečevo has various small creatures, moray eels, colorful feather stars, anemones, and different types of sponges. Cuttlefish, scorpionfish, nudibranchs, long-striped blennies, lettered perch, rainbow wrasses, and rock gobies inhabit this dive site.
