All about Cret-Cheu dive site

Cret-Cheu is best approached as a volcanic reef dive with Cape Verde’s typical mix of rock, sand, and Atlantic fish life. It has a natural, rugged character, with formations that may create small passages, shadowed ledges, and fish-filled pockets.

What to see

Expect reef fish, wrasse, parrotfish, damselfish, moray eels, scorpionfish, sponges, nudibranchs, and crustaceans. Rays, turtles, or barracuda may be seen occasionally.

When To Go Diving

The strongest period is usually April to November, though conditions vary with swell and wind. Water is commonly around 22–27°C in the main season, with visibility often around 15–30 metres.
