All about Tchouklassa dive site

Tchouklassa is another spelling variation of Tchu-Klassa, an offshore shoal around Sal. Its distance from the coast, depth changes, and current exposure make it one of the more dynamic fish-focused dives in the area.

What to see

Divers may see schooling fish, tuna, jacks, barracuda, reef fish, moray eels, and scorpionfish. Manta rays, sharks, or whale sharks may appear rarely, especially in favourable plankton and current conditions.

When To Go Diving

April to November is usually the best time, with boat access dependent on sea state and current. Water is generally around 22–27°C, with visibility often 15–30 metres.
