All about Big Tunnel dive site

Big Tunnel, also called Big Tunnels, is one of Grand Cayman’s more memorable wall dives, with a limestone pinnacle leading into a large swim-through. The dive feels architectural, moving from reef structure into a cavern-like passage before opening back toward the wall.

What to see

Horse-eye jacks, rope sponges, sea whips, wall corals, reef fish, turtles, and barracuda may be seen. The swim-through itself is the main feature, especially for wide-angle photography.

When To Go Diving

Best from November to April, when visibility and surface conditions are usually strongest. Water is generally around 25–30°C, and clear conditions make the tunnel and wall especially impressive.
