Liveaboard cruises offering dives at the Lone Star

All about Lone Star dive site

Lone Star is a west-side Grand Cayman reef site with a gentler profile, often suited to relaxed reef touring after a deeper first dive. It has a bright, approachable character, with coral heads and fish life spread across a shallower reefscape.

What to see

Reef fish, sea fans, sponges, parrotfish, butterflyfish, angelfish, wrasse, turtles, and small macro life may be seen. Barracuda or jacks may pass above the reef.

When To Go Diving

November to April is usually best for visibility, while summer offers warmer water. Expect around 25–30°C water and visibility that often exceeds 30 metres in settled conditions.
