All about Sand Chute dive site

Sand Chute is a distinctive Grand Cayman wall dive where a pale sandy channel cuts through the reef and drops toward deeper water. The contrast between white sand, coral walls, and blue depth gives the dive a clean, cinematic look.

What to see

Turtles and reef sharks may patrol the chute, with jacks, barracuda, sponges, sea fans, reef fish, and coral formations along the sides. The sand channel is the defining visual feature.

When To Go Diving

November to April usually offers the best visibility and more settled seas. Water temperatures are typically around 25–30°C, with excellent clarity possible in calm weather.
