All about Tarpon Alley dive site

Tarpon Alley is a Grand Cayman site where coral channels and reef structure create shelter for tarpon and schooling fish. It has a lively, immersive feel, especially when large silver fish gather in the blue-green light.

What to see

Tarpon are the headline species, with jacks, grunts, snappers, parrotfish, angelfish, sea fans, sponges, and coral heads also common. Turtles and rays may pass through nearby sand channels.

When To Go Diving

November to April is usually the best overall period, though summer can also be interesting when silversides are present at some Cayman sites. Water usually ranges from 25–30°C.
