Bahía Maguey is one of Huatulco’s more accessible bay areas, with warm water and sheltered rocky reef. It is well suited to relaxed dives and mixed experience levels.
What to see
Reef fish, rays, pufferfish, moray eels, octopus, snappers, grunts, and rocky reef life may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from November to May for calmer water. Water is generally warm, often around 25–29°C, with visibility depending on swell and plankton.
