Aquarium is a fish-rich Muscat reef site, where the name reflects the feeling of being surrounded by reef life in relatively accessible conditions. It has a bright, approachable profile, well suited to relaxed diving and photography.
What to see
Schools of reef fish, fusiliers, snappers, batfish, butterflyfish, angelfish, moray eels, turtles, rays, hard corals, and soft corals may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from April–May and September–October, with year-round diving possible in suitable weather. Water is usually about 23–30°C, and visibility often ranges from 5–25 metres.
