Liveaboard cruises offering dives at the Wreck of the Sayonara

All about Wreck of the Sayonara dive site

Wreck
The Wreck of the Sayonara lies at Turneffe Atoll and is one of Belize’s known wreck dives, combining artificial structure with reef life. It brings a different texture to an atoll itinerary, with metal lines softened by coral growth and fish activity.

What to see

Wreck structure, sponges, coral growth, snappers, grunts, jacks, groupers, rays, and possible reef sharks may be seen. Small creatures may hide in openings and encrusted sections.

When To Go Diving

December to May is usually the best overall period for Turneffe, while March to June is often strong for liveaboard diving. Water is generally around 26–29°C, with good visibility offshore.
