All about Western Sambos dive site

Western Sambos is part of the Florida Keys reef tract, with patch reefs, spur-and-groove structure, and clear-water coral scenery. It has a broad, natural reef character close to Key West.

What to see

Hard corals, sea fans, sponges, grunts, snappers, parrotfish, angelfish, turtles, rays, nurse sharks, and lobsters may be seen.

When To Go Diving

Best from May to October for warm water, with calmer days often bringing better visibility. Water can range from about 20–30°C.
