All about Victoria Canyons dive site
Victoria Canyons is an Ambergris Caye-area canyon dive, where the barrier reef is cut by grooves, tunnels, and sandy corridors. The site has a more adventurous feel than a flat reef, with natural architecture guiding the route.
What to see
Coral canyons, sponges, sea fans, reef fish, snappers, grunts, jacks, nurse sharks, rays, and turtles may be seen. Canyons may also shelter lobsters and crabs.
When To Go Diving
December to May is generally the clearest and calmest period around Ambergris Caye. Water temperatures are usually around 26–29°C, with visibility often strong on settled days.
