All about Tortuga Reef dive site

Tortuga Reef is a turtle-focused Caribbean reef site where coral slopes and sand channels create good cruising habitat. It has a calm, tropical character, especially when turtles glide between coral heads and seagrass edges.

What to see

Green turtles and hawksbill turtles may be seen, along with reef fish, rays, moray eels, sea fans, sponges, parrotfish, angelfish, and grunts.

When To Go Diving

Best conditions are often from November to April, though diving is possible year-round. Water is generally 25–29°C, with visibility commonly 20 metres or more.
