All about Tibisi dive site
Tibisi is best described as a Las Galeras-area reef or wall site, shaped by the wilder northern coastline. It likely has more rugged rock and Atlantic influence than the sheltered Bayahibe reefs.
What to see
Expect reef fish, sea fans, sponges, rocky ledges, snappers, grunts, jacks, moray eels, rays, and possible turtles.
When To Go Diving
Calm sea conditions are important, especially on the Samaná side. Water is generally around 24–29°C, with visibility often good but more variable than the south coast.
