Suvadiva Atoll refers to the vast southern atoll region around Huvadhoo, one of the Maldives’ largest and most remote reef systems. It has a true expedition feel, with many channels and outer reefs.
What to see
Grey reef sharks, whitetip reef sharks, eagle rays, tuna, jacks, turtles, barracuda, soft corals, hard corals and schooling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from December to May for visibility, calmer seas and channel diving. Water is usually around 27–30°C.
