Secret Reef is best treated as a quieter local reef site, likely with coral patches, sand channels, and a less crowded feel. It suits divers who enjoy natural reef scenery without a single famous landmark.
What to see
Coral heads, reef fish, anthias, butterflyfish, wrasse, moray eels, nudibranchs, shrimps, and occasional turtles or rays may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best conditions depend on region, but in North Sulawesi and much of Indonesia, drier months often bring better visibility. Water is usually around 26–29°C.
