All about Santo Antao dive site
Santo Antao, in this context, is likely the Santo Antão wreck off Sal, a shallow wreck broken into sections. Its accessible depth and broken structure create habitat for fish, rays, and small life while keeping the dive approachable.
What to see
Divers may see wreck sections, fish sheltering in nooks and cracks, stingrays, nurse sharks, moray eels, scorpionfish, parrotfish, wrasse, and crustaceans. The broken structure gives the dive a compact wreck-and-reef feel.
When To Go Diving
Diving is possible year-round, with April to November generally strongest for warmth and visibility. Water temperatures are often around 22–27°C in the main season, with visibility commonly 15–30 metres.
