All about Quita Sueño Bank dive site
Quita Sueño Bank is one of the largest remote reef-bank systems in the Seaflower region, with shallow coral habitats spread across a vast Caribbean area. The name suits the experience: far from land, exposed to blue water, and shaped by reef, current, and horizon.
What to see
Expect hard corals, sea fans, sponges, reef fish, parrotfish, angelfish, groupers, snappers, turtles, rays, barracuda, and possible reef sharks. Remote reef edges may also bring jacks and other schooling fish.
When To Go Diving
December to May is usually the most reliable season for calmer seas and clearer weather. Water is generally around 26–29°C, and visibility can be excellent offshore, although current and wind can change conditions quickly.
