Barco Hundido, meaning “sunken boat,” is a San Andrés wreck-style dive where artificial structure adds a different mood to the island’s reef scenery. It gives divers a contrast to the walls and coral gardens, with marine life gathering around the remains.

What to see
Divers may see wreck structure, encrusting corals, sponges, grunts, snappers, jacks, barracuda, angelfish, and small crustaceans. Rays or turtles may pass over nearby sand or reef.
When To Go Diving
December to May is usually the strongest overall period, although the site can be dived year-round. Water is generally around 26–29°C, with visibility often around 24–30+ metres in good conditions.
