Ponderosa, also known as Jardín del Edén, is a famous Riviera Maya cenote with broad open water, cavern sections, and dramatic sunlight. It feels spacious and inviting while still offering classic cenote geology.
What to see
Limestone formations, freshwater fish, cavern passages, roots, light beams, halocline, and clear freshwater scenery may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Diveable year-round, with water usually around 24–26°C. Visibility is typically excellent, often 30 metres or more, and sunbeams are especially attractive when the light is high.
