LIVEABOARD DIVING IN Anilao
Anilao is a barangay in the municipality of Mabini, Batangas, the Philippines. It is located just a 3 hour drive south of Manila on the large island of Luzon, at the southern end of the Calumpang Peninisula facing Maribacan Island. The closest international airport is Ninoy Aquino that is located in 110 km. Anilao is popular with divers and snorkelers. The reefs of Anilao are pristine and extremely healthy, both at shallow depths and at very deep depths. Divers can explore sandy slopes, drop-offs, overhangs, walls and so on. It is also a great place to find Bobbit worms.
The best dive sites in Anilao are Cathedral Rock, Beatrice Rock, Twin Rocks, Mainit Muck (Secret Bay), Sombrero Island and Sepok Wall. Dive sites are usually 10-25 minutes away from most resorts. Mainit Muck (Secret Bay) is one of the most famous muck-diving sites with the average depth of 27m/89ft and strong currents of around 2 knots. Diving here is suitable for experienced divers.
