All about Marinha Beach dive site
Marinha Beach is one of the Algarve’s most scenic limestone coastlines, and underwater it is best described as a shallow rocky reef and sand-patch environment. The dive has a bright coastal character, with cliffs and arches above water adding to the setting.
What to see
Rocky reef, bream, wrasse, octopus, cuttlefish, small groupers, sea stars, anemones, sponges, and juvenile fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from May to October in calm sea conditions. Water is usually warmer in late summer, often around 17–23°C, with visibility depending on swell and sand movement.
