LIVEABOARD DIVING IN Marsalforn

Marsalforn is a village that lies on the northeast coast of Gozo and forms part of the locality of Żebbuġ. The closest airport is Malta International, from there you got to get to Cirkewwa (28 km) and then by ferry to Gozo Island. The rather dramatic landscape and hundreds of salt pans can be found to the west of Marsalforn. Marsalforn is the most popular tourist resort on Gozo, with its relaxed atmosphere, hotels, cafés, and restaurants, and rocky limestone beaches. This village is also a popular base for diving enthusiasts, and many diving sites are within close range. Underwater scenery in surrounding waters is magnificent and gives divers the opportunity to explore walls, chimneys, caves and caverns. Some deep and rocky diving locations are rather dangerous but very exciting, some of them are for experienced divers only.

The most popular dive sites of this area are Reqqa Point (or Reqqa Reef), Billinghurst’s Cave, Double Arch, a bit further - Blue Hole and Inland Sea.
