Malibu Point, around Nusa Penida, is known as a more advanced site with stronger current and blue-water exposure. It has serious pelagic potential when conditions align.
What to see
Reef sharks, turtles, jacks, rays, schooling fish, coral slopes, and occasional mola mola may be seen.
When To Go Diving
April to November is usually best, with July to October often cooler and linked with mola mola season. Water can drop sharply with upwellings.
