Mala Cove, in Lanzarote, is a volcanic coastal site with rugged rock, clear water, and a quieter feel than the island’s busiest dive areas.

What to see

Volcanic reef, bream, wrasse, barracuda, rays, moray eels, octopus, nudibranchs, and schooling fish may be seen.

When To Go Diving

Best from May to October, with year-round diving possible in calm weather. Water is usually 18–24°C.
