All about La Herradura dive site
La Herradura, in Andalusia, is one of southern Spain’s better-known dive areas, with rocky reefs, walls, and Mediterranean-Atlantic influence. It has a varied, accessible profile.

What to see
Groupers, wrasse, bream, octopus, moray eels, nudibranchs, sponges, sunfish occasionally offshore, and schooling fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from May to October, with water commonly around 16–24°C. Visibility is often 10–30 metres in calm conditions.
