Tunnel
Punta Cascante is located in La Gomera, Canary Islands. This dive features a large reef coming up from the seabed to the surface. There is a tunnel through the center of the reef which can be adventurous for experienced divers. Night dives and snorkeling can also be done at this site.

When To Go Diving

The best time to go is from June to October. The average water temperature is 19C/66F in March and 26C/79F in September. The average air temperature ranges from 14C/57F to 19C/66F during the winter months and from 21C/70F to 29C/82F during the summer months.

What to see

Inside the tunnel divers can often find sleeping stingrays. Outside, there are shoals of curious looking trumpet fish. Octopus, nudibranchs, stingrays, electric rays, star puffers, parrotfish, morays, groupers, scorpion fish, shrimps, lobsters, arrowhead crabs and damselfish can also be found in this area.
