All about Leven bank dive site
Leven Bank, north of Zanzibar, is an offshore submerged bank with a wilder, more exposed profile than the island’s inner reefs. It is generally better suited to experienced divers because current, depth, and open-water conditions can make the site more demanding.

What to see
Jacks, barracuda, tuna, kingfish, reef fish, groupers, snappers, moray eels, rays, hard corals, soft corals, and schooling pelagic fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best in calm, settled weather, often during the clearer dry-season windows from June to October and December to February. Water is usually around 25–29°C, with visibility often 15–30 metres when conditions align.
