All about Kicker Rock dive site

Kicker Rock (león dormido) is a towering formation off San Cristóbal, with sheer walls and a channel that invites you to drift, pause, and look into the blue. It’s as much about geology as wildlife—volcanic shapes turned into an underwater corridor

What to see

Sharks are a major draw, with galápagos sharks, whitetip reef sharks, and occasional hammerheads discussed for the area. Sea lions, sea turtles, and eagle rays are also commonly associated with the site, along with dense schools of fish in the channel

When To Go Diving

January to May is often preferred for warmer water and easier conditions, while the cooler season can bring colder water and more variable visibility. Expect roughly 20–26°C in the warmer months and cooler dips in the mid-year season, with visibility commonly around 10–25 m
