Ixtapa Lagoon
Ixtapa Lagoon is located near the town of Ixtapa on the Pacific coast. The site is known for its crystal-clear waters teeming with life. The maximum depth of the site is 20m/65ft which makes it suitable for divers of all levels.
When To Go Diving
Diving is possible all year round, although the best time to dive is considered between August and March. The air temperature ranges between the low of 20C/68F to high of 30C/86F. The average water temperature stays around 24C/75F.
What to see
The marine diversity of this site includes schools of tuna, sailfish, jacks, octopi, turtles, rays, sea horses and quite a few others.
