Dream Gates is a more delicate, cavern-style cenote known for intricate formations and a darker, more technical atmosphere. It is best suited to divers comfortable with overhead-environment procedures and local guide protocols.
What to see
Stalactites, stalagmites, columns, narrow cavern passages, dark chambers, clear freshwater, and fragile limestone formations may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Cenotes are diveable year-round, with stable water around 24–26°C and exceptional visibility. Conditions are less seasonal than ocean sites, though light varies with time of day.
